The course sets out in front of the Mountain Rescue Service’s hut, in the direction of the Izvorul Minunilor (Wonder Spring). Passing by the spring we start our climb on the left and follow the yellow-dot tourist mark. From here we can see the 3 peaks of the Buteasa and the Vădeasa Peak. In the col, the course turns left and sets out towards Piatra Calului. Reaching the high voltage electric pole the route makes a sharp left turn and starts to descend, following the concrete poles and the yellow-dot tourist mark to the Patru Brazi Lodge.
This valley streaked by streams is really beautiful. Leaving the lodge we reach the asphalt road and turning to the right we follow it for 2,5 km, where we turn left and follow the red-cross tourist mark, then the blue-dot. After the asphalted part, the course starts to abruptly ascend, settling down over the Ieduțu waterfall and reaching the main road at the upper part of the valley. We turn left on the asphalted main road and after only 2,5 km we get back to our starting point.
